I typically don't need light on the surface of my desk. However when I take the occasional online training course, I like to follow along with the provided hardcopy materials and jot down notes. I needed something to illuminate the desk surface without taking up space. This light fit the bill perfectly. It's feels well built with it's all-metal construction. It's bright enough with adjustable light temps but most importantly has zero glare. I have two 32" curved monitors, I have the light set up in the middle of one, its perfect!

Build quality is top notch. I bought this monitor light bar to replace an Ikea halogen lamp that didn't fit well around my 27" monitor. I use this light to reduce eyestrain as my eyes have to go from light to dark and back again in a darkened room. Easy to install, just let it rest atop your display, plug in the USB, and press the power button. Color temp adjustment is nice. Likely what makes the lamp much more expensive than other option. I can adjust from close to the Halogen's color to more like an office fluorescent lamp.

The most wonderful light I've ever had. This light does not put a reflection onto the monitor screen and in fact, you might not even realize it is on. This is the best feature of the light. Just tap the button and it turns on to give you the proper light on your keyboard and surrounding surface.

It is a nice monitor lamp to replace my tranditional desktop lamp . And I am very happy to buy it, the light allows me to focus on my work and is not directly shine on my eyes. Good value for the money. I love it.
